first 48

One of my favorite shows as of late is the first 48. It is a crime show on A&E which tells two stories of murder and what the detectives go through in the first 48 hours after a crime. The details on this show are great...obviously there is an editing process, but for the most part, you get to see what happens during the investigation's first 48 hours.

There are scenes of brutality and also shocking interrogation video where suspects break down and cry and witnesses rat out their own family members. If you are a fan of these types of shows, then I would highly recommend it.

As far as the interrogations, is it actual footage or dramatizations? I suppose if everything was by-the-book, there would be nothing to hide for law enforcement. That is making the supposition that the episodes aren't taking place in Guantanamo Bay (crush!).

yeah, it's real life, no cheesy rescue 911 shit. It's the real deal.
